Dwight H. Egan
Chief Executive Officer
Officer and director since April 2013, engaged in the private investment business from February 1999 to the present. Previously senior executive at Data Broadcasting Corporation (1995-1999), co-founded Broadcast International, Inc., serving as CEO and Chairman (1984-1995) before its acquisition by Data Broadcasting Corporation, which created CBS MarketWatch. His background in directing public companies and capital markets provides financial and operational expertise.

Richard Abbott
President
Over 25 years in senior leadership roles within in vitro diagnostics. Developed systems for infectious disease diagnosis, food pathogen monitoring, biological weapons threat detection, and genetics research. Vice President of Engineering at BioFire Diagnostics, where he led cross-functional teams generating billions in revenue. Holds Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University and MBA from Wharton Business School.

Brian L. Brown, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Appointed February 2021. Previously CFO of A-Core Concrete Cutting, Inc. and Vice President of Accounting, Treasury & Investor Relations at Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq SPWH). Certified Public Accountant in 2007. Master of Professional Accountancy from University of Utah David Eccles School of Business (2001); Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from University of Utah (2000). Mr. Brown's experience in finance, accounting, and roles directing successful financial departments all help make Mr. Brown a critical component of the Co-Diagnostics leadership team.

David Nielsen
Chief Operations Officer
Joined CoMira January 2022 via Advanced Conceptions, Inc. acquisition. Over 25 years in R&D technical and leadership roles at BioFire and BioFire Defense (acquired by bioMérieux in 2014). One of the original Idaho Technology employees. BS Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University; MS Mechanical Engineering and MBA from University of Utah.

Christopher Thurston
Chief Technology Officer
Co-founder of Idaho Molecular and co-inventor of CoMira PCR Pro™. Passionate about improving human quality of life and instrumental in democratizing PCR diagnostics. Principal developer and architect behind BioMerieux's SyndromicTrends.com. Senior architect roles at Ernst and Young and BioFire Defense; executive positions at multiple startups. Consistent strategic leadership and a knack for technological innovation across a variety of sectors. Military service in Operations in the Middle East; lived in France, influencing perspective that human health is a global problem that requires global solutions.

Seth Egan
Chief Commercialization Officer
Co-founder of Co-Diagnostics, Inc. Led sales, marketing, and product commercialization efforts since inception. Over 12 years in diagnostics. Key executive management responsibilities including company operations, financings, and product introductions. Manages (with Mohal Sarabhai) the Co-Dx/CoSara JV relationship between Co-Dx and India's Symbiotics, LTD. Organized company IPO and subsequent financings. CoMira has distributed more than 35M tests to more than 50 countries, generating over $200M in revenue since 2020. Eager to see the new Co-Dx PCR Pro platform make a significant impact by providing PCR tests worldwide, to both developed and emerging nations. Supervises all sales and marketing events for the company worldwide. Bachelor of Science from Utah Valley University in Business Communications.

Mayuranki Almaula, Ph.D.
Sr. VP Overseas Operations and Strategic Alliances
Responsible for clinical verification and validation strategies supporting diagnostic portfolios. Supporting the India-based clinical and manufacturing operations for our joint venture, CoSara Diagnostics Pvt Ltd. Previously Business Development Director at Insilico Sciences; supported Senior Executive VP of Business Development at Gen Probe (now Hologic) defining India strategy; supported Symbiosis Biowares International Business Development. Master's in Microbiology from Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda; doctorate in Microbiology from Stanford University.
